About — The artist
Aline Piboule is a French pianist and educator.
She trained at the conservatories of Lyon and Paris as well as at the University of Montreal, and was a laureate of the Orléans International Piano Competition in 2014. As a soloist, she is renowned for her interpretation of rare and contemporary repertoires and for renewed concert formats, notably “récits-récitals” (story-recitals) conceived with the writer Pascal Quignard. Her solo discography, dedicated notably to Fauré, Dutilleux, and Greif, has been critically acclaimed and distinguished with several Diapason d'or awards.
