Voxtrot

Voxtrot gained international recognition in the mid-2000s thanks to two cult EPs, Raised By Wolves and Mothers, Sisters, Daughters & Wives.

This ascent was confirmed with the EP Your Biggest Fan in 2006, which debuted at number 3 on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart, followed by an eponymous album released in 2007, which charted at 14th on Billboard Heatseekers.

The band's journey was meteoric, its impact immediate, and its split in 2010 left a community of passionate fans to keep its music alive. Over the years, this audience has only grown, proving that Voxtrot's songs have largely outlived the era that saw their birth.

After more than ten years of absence, Voxtrot returns with Dreamers in Exile, the band's first album in nearly twenty years, to be released on their own label.

Written and self-produced in Texas at Jason Chronis's Haunted Air Studio, then mixed by Dean Reid (Lana Del Rey, James Blake, The Black Keys), the album reveals a more mature and audacious band, trading the exalted torments of youth for a reflection on the passage of time, the distance between past and present, and the hope of connection.

Both continuity and reinvention, this return does not seek to freeze a legacy, but to broaden it. Voxtrot marks its grand return with a concert at La Maroquinerie on September 23rd.
