Typhee

Self-taught and passionate, Typhee decided to fully commit to music in 2024 with a clear goal: to make his mark on Marseille. For 2025, he committed to releasing a track every two weeks.

He followed up with a frantic pace of single releases, features, and content filming for 10 months. He scoured Marseille and collaborated with the new emerging scene that is changing the style of Marseilles rap.

He can be found with Eniah, L’as, Mehdi Miklo, Garrinsha, Khara, and many others. Gone are the Jul-type beats; the new Marseille is sunny, full of melancholy with a well-placed touch of melody, and this is what characterises Typhee's style.

Originally from Beausoleil in the 4th arrondissement of Marseille (the beginning of the northern districts), Typhee delivers an authentic discourse on life in the neighbourhood, his doubts, his romantic relationships.

Far from inventing a character, Typhee opens up and, over a melody, delivers raw messages or well-aimed punchlines (like any good Marseillais). Y that confirms his artistic progression and begins collaborating with renowned beatmakers such as Rosalie du 38 or P2winder.

DeSouza, another emerging artist from Marseille, is also featured. A more complete project is planned for late 2026, and exciting opportunities are on the horizon, making it essential to remember Typhee's name and to have seen him before everyone else.
