What if a simple train platform could open up an entire life? In Train de vie, Philippe Gougler, journalist, seasoned traveller, and iconic face of the TV show Des trains pas comme les autres (France Télévisions), takes to the stage for the first time to recount his own journey.

From his solitary childhood in Franche-Comté, where he dreamt of faraway places watching trains pass by, to his trembling first steps behind a radio microphone, and to the far reaches of the world explored along the rails, he takes us on a narrative that is as intimate as it is universal.

Alone on stage, he brings to life a gallery of colourful characters, comical situations, and suspended moments, where humour meets emotion. Because beyond the landscapes traversed, it is above all the encounters that shape a destiny.

Train de vie is an invitation to travel… but above all, to meet oneself. A sensitive and generous show, carried by an authentic voice, which subtly questions our relationship with the world, with others, and with our own detours in life.
