Tinkui

In the Quechua language, the word Tinkuy describes the meeting of opposing forces that complement each other. The show Tinkui is the encounter of two whimsical characters, magnificent heroes of a burlesque and poetic mythology. In the beginning, there are these balls that invade the stage. Balls like so many planets to explore. Balls like so many playgrounds to invest. Everything is movement and stillness. Everything appears, disappears, and transforms. In the beginning, there is also the rain, the wind, it blows. Then, at the bend of a pipe, it sings, it grooves.
