In 2022, Then Comes Silence unexpectedly became a trio while preparing for their first US tour. It was an involuntary test: could the band continue with only three members? The experiment ultimately proved conclusive, and the band decided to permanently continue as a trio. Bolstered by their last two albums, « Machine » and « Hunger », Then Comes Silence hit the road again: two tours in the United States supporting Vision Video and The Bellwether Syndicate, and many others in Europe. This metamorphosis led to a different approach to music creation and stage performances. Electronic elements are essential to their new album, « Trickery », but also pay homage to punk, the birthplace of Then Comes Silence and post-punk. The album was recorded live in just three days at Kapsylen studio in Stockholm, to capture the very essence of rock.

Born between Paris and Rennes, the duo Berne Evol / Brice Delourmel stretches the horizons of cold wave and post-punk towards more industrial, more carnal textures, at the heart of an obsessive amorous chaos. Rhythms that pound relentlessly, approaching a sublime soundtrack of despair, hazy, synthetic and dense, and which knows how to envelop with its gothic, steel-tasting guitars.
