They have been featured in Rolling Stone, Living Blues, and Elmore magazines, graced the cover of Vintage Guitar magazine, hit #1 on Billboard, iTunes, and Sirius XM blues charts, and have been nominated for three Blues Music Awards by the Blues Foundation in Memphis.

The Indianapolis Star ranked Reverend Peyton as one of the top 25 Hoosier musicians of all time. Often called the greatest blues band in the world, the Big Damn Band is led by Reverend Peyton, considered the best fingerstyle guitarist today.

Rev has built a reputation as both a singularly captivating performer and a compelling evangelist for the roots and country blues styles that captivated his imagination from an early age and inspired him and his band to make pilgrimages to Clarksdale, Mississippi, to study with blues masters such as T-Model Ford, Robert Belfour, and David Honeyboy Edwards.
