The Milk Carton Kids

Grammy-nominated neo-traditional folk duo from Los Angeles, The Milk Carton Kids will be in concert at La Maroquinerie in Paris on Saturday 23 January 2027.

*Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan formed The Milk Carton Kids in early 2011, setting aside their solo careers in favour of a collaborative project focused on vocal harmonies, intertwined acoustic guitars, and roots-based songwriting. They released their first two albums – the live album Retrospect and the studio album “Prologue” – later in 2011, at which point they also began a series of tours. Renowned for their comedic and provocative interactions as well as their guitar virtuosity (Pattengale's intricate picking and Ryan's impeccable rhythm guitar), they first integrated a band into their project in 2018, with the release of their fourth studio album, “All the Things That I Did and All the Things That I Didn’t Do”. The duo then opted for a more stripped-down formation for their subsequent albums, notably “I Only See the Moon” released in 2023. In their seventh studio album, “Lost Cause Lover Fool”, released this year, The Milk Carton Kids offer nine tracks that, more than ever, invite listeners to draw closer and linger on the small moments that the album discreetly highlights.
