At the "Marée basse" nursing home, Christmas Eve preparations are underway just like everywhere else, except here, spirits are low. Indeed, none of the 5 children of the charming octogenarian couple, Marcelle and Maurice, will be making the trip to celebrate with them.
Our lovers are resigned, but they haven't reckoned with Auguste, 75, who decides to intervene to change the course of the evening.
Between Marcelle who's losing her mind, Maurice "the old rogue", Auguste the rebellious mythomaniac, and Caroline, the completely overwhelmed care assistant... the evening spirals out of control!
