PM GALLERY presents L’Ombre de vie, an exhibition bringing together Maurice de Vlaminck, Ossip Zadkine, Benjamin Vorms, and Masha Schmidt around the traces left by living things, between presence, absence, and memory.
Through paintings, sculptures, and contemporary works, L’Ombre de vie explores what remains beyond presence: an imprint in a landscape, the memory of a body, a form or a sensation.
By bringing modern and contemporary artists into dialogue, the exhibition questions how the past continues to inhabit the present and how each work can become a witness to a vanished or transformed presence.
