Mike Rosenberg has some news he can't wait to shout from the rooftops and sing on stage. The chart-topping, record-breaking singer-songwriter Passenger recently got married and became a father for the first time last year.

2 in the UK and the Top 10 across Europe, this is a real turnaround. The announcement is accompanied by the new single It Was Gonna Be You, already available: It's the last song I wrote for the album and, honestly, I wasn't sure it would fit in well with the others.

It came from a slightly less personal state of mind, which, for a while, seemed out of step with the rest of the album, but the more I played it, the more I felt it belonged among the others.

I think "Wild Love" tries to capture the many facets of love – the good, the bad and the ugly – and I find that this song brings something that no other song does. It's also a very catchy little tune.
