After the Trojan War, Odysseus decides to return home to Ithaca. But fate and the gods have other plans, and his journey home will be fraught with peril. Facing monsters of all kinds, witches, a cyclops, and other sea creatures, Odysseus will finally reunite with Penelope 10 years later...

René Brillotte, a professor of ancient Greek, is contacted by Marie-Louise Costaille to give a lecture on the theme "Odysseus, his name is nobody". The situation quickly spirals out of his control, transforming the rigorous conference he planned into a genuine musical show.
