“Landscapes of eternity”: is there a more beautiful promise? Naïssam Jalal’s concert is an invitation to contemplation. The virtuoso sound of her flute guides us through an initiatory journey to India, combining intimacy with vast spaces. Fortunate is she who, like Naïssam Jalal, has made a beautiful journey… Alone, travelling through northern India, to explore what connects music, nature and spirituality in the Hindustani tradition, the classical music of this region. Traversing landscapes and sacred places, meeting singers and instrumentalists, she apprehends the world around her differently. With her transverse flute, she weaves a thread of harmony that, from the depths of her being, expands to her environment.
