Mourir d'Aimer, les Amants Maudits de Mai 68 is an original musical show freely inspired by a true story that shook France in the late 60s. Marseille, 1968. A French teacher and one of her students develop a romance amidst the effervescence of May 1968.
A forbidden love, denounced, condemned. Between passion and violated freedom, this tragic destiny questions universal values: women's emancipation, freedom of expression, freedom to love.
On stage, singers, actors, and dancers bring this human and musical fresco to life through meticulous scenography, and passionately crafted sets and costumes.
All of this is carried by 28 original songs co-written by Fabrice Gauvin and Grégory Fostier, ranging from poignant ballads to catchy rhythms, leading up to the unforgettable cover of Charles Aznavour's: Mourir d'Aimer.
Following the success of its tour in France, Mourir d'Aimer, les Amants Maudits de Mai 68 is back on the road for a new 2026/2027 season.
