Etienne Champollion is a multi-instrumentalist, moving from piano to accordion with virtuosity. For nearly ten years, the two companions have been performing Brel, Brassens, Gainsbourg, and Renaud on stage. Covering Souchon, highlighting the strength of his melodies and the originality of his lyrics, seemed an obvious choice to them. Together they create a show faithful to the artist, at once poetic, whimsical, and full of humour. Songs wrapped in a happy melancholy, lyrics that appear innocent yet are often profound and moving… You will find Souchon without mimicry or artifice. The interpretation is personal, but the emotion remains universal. The elegant and mischievous Alain Souchon is an essential reference in French chanson. This tribute will not leave you unmoved.
