MASTER BOOT RECORD (aka MBR) is a “computer metal” project founded in 2016 by producer Vittorio D’amore, which blends heavy metal with synthesised electronic music.
The project, as a live band, intensified its stage activities in 2022, welcoming artists such as guitar virtuoso and Ibanez ambassador Edoardo Taddei on lead guitar, as well as technical death metal drummer Giulio Galati.
MBR has released 14 albums to date with several labels and is among the most popular artists on the American digital distribution platform Bandcamp, ranking No. 1 in the overall charts multiple times.
