Marie Sarah establishes herself as a singular voice in French soul music. Born to a French mother and a Cameroonian father, Marie Sarah is 25 years old and grew up with the television constantly tuned to music video channels. At home, it was non-stop musicals. The revelation: Dreamgirls, the film about Diana Ross and The Supremes. From then on, the mellow sounds, brass sections, crooners, and raw soul of the 60s became her passion: Otis Redding, Etta James, Motown, Stax, Chess Records. After training in musical theatre at Cours Florent, Marie Sarah was discovered following the online release of a cover of Etta James's “I'd Rather Go Blind”. Since the release of her first EP in April 2024 (+1.4 M streams on Spotify), she has appeared on Taratata, opened for Boyz II Men, Gavin DeGraw, and Tower of Power, and accompanied Seal on six Zénith shows in France. Her first album “On My Way”, released on March 13, 2026, is available on all platforms
