Enthusiastic about the talent of these artists, who were not yet called Impressionists, he bought without counting until the bailiffs knocked on his door! And since behind every great man hides a woman, you will discover a seductive and mischievous Madame Durand-Ruel, ready to do anything to save her family from disaster and help her husband sell at all costs! An extraordinary destiny for this pioneer who, through his flair and tenacity, revolutionised the art market!
