Anthony Joubert brings his personal touch and offers you a slightly more naive François Pignon in a staging that surprises the audience without distorting either the play or the text! Every Wednesday, Pierre Brochant and his friends organise a dinner for 'idiots'.
The principle is simple: each participant brings an 'idiot', and the one whose guest stands out the most is declared the winner.
Tonight Pierre is happy, he thinks he has found a rare gem: François Pignon, an accountant at the Ministry of Finance, passionate about matchstick models.
But what he doesn't know is that Pignon, ready to do anything to help, is a notorious jinx, a master in the art of triggering catastrophes... The encounter between two destinies that should never have crossed paths...
