Always exploring new formats to better surprise us – whether through polyrhythms, trances, or original harmonies, La Colonie de Vacances invites us to live a true experience by taking our place within a protean and enveloping orchestra.
Playing with conventions, the musicians focus on John Cage's idea that « everyone is in the best seat » by ensuring that the compositions offer several possible levels of listening.
After thirteen years of good and loyal service to the cause of crazy concerts, La Colonie de Vacances is coming to say goodbye!
