Solo clown act, soap bubbles and imaginary aquatic dance… Water is wet! How do you approach cleanliness when you're a clown entering a bathroom? The Barboteuse won't choose the shortest or easiest path to get clean. She needs to gain self-confidence and dare to dive into the water of her bathtub. At the centre of the stage is a bathtub. The timeless set is both modern and retro. With her swimming cap and swimsuit, the Barboteuse evokes bathers from the 1930s while being made up with a sweet and childlike, light and poetic face. She says only a few words that the youngest can understand and expresses her emotions in complicity with the audience. In this sensory show, we address the apprehension of water and the intimacy of washing, which becomes playful for very young audiences. Children or adults, haven't we all one day imagined that a bathroom could become one of the most fabulous playgrounds?
