One legitimate and one illegitimate. When his wife dies, he decides to leave everything and take Mechita, his mistress, on an epic journey through the jungle. China and Rogelio, Venceslao's children, also leave the countryside hoping for a better life in the capital.
The world is collapsing, the city and the jungle become mirrors of their madness. A cruel and crazy comedy about filiation and ordinary violence.
