Eugène Ionesco was one of the great artistic figures of Montparnasse in the 60s. Father of the “theatre of the absurd” - to which he preferred the word “unusual” - author of numerous plays that still travel the world: Rhinocéros, La Cantatrice chauve, Les Chaises, Le Roi se meurt... Ionesco marked the second half of the 20th century with his desperate lucidity, to which he opposed an inimitable comic inventiveness. His work is driven by an intense mystical quest. Judith Magre and Eric Naulleau continue their journey among poets by inviting this rare visionary writer, who said: “Truth is in the imaginary”, into their now legendary duo. Let's believe him!
