High Fade

The Funk/Rock trio High Fade — comprising founder Harry Valentino (Guitar, Vocals), Oliver Sentence (Bass, Moustache), and drummer Heath Campbell (Drums) — has evolved from Scotland's most exciting street band to a global sensation after bursting onto the scene with viral phenomena such as Burnt Toast & Coffee, Gossip, Burnin', as well as a daring cover of Herbie Hancock's Chameleon.

Sold-out tours across the UK, USA, and Europe have seen the band surpass 1,500 gigs, quickly establishing High Fade as one of the fiercest touring acts on the planet.

Delivering shows brimming with raw energy and breathtaking musical virtuosity, they refuse to accept the limitations of what a three-piece band can achieve.

With sold-out tours across the UK, USA, and Europe; and notable appearances at dozens of festivals like Boomtown (UK), Suwannee Hulaween (USA), and Glastonbury — where they performed three times in a single day in 2024 — High Fade has come a long way from that street corner in Edinburgh.

Drawing inspiration from funk, rock, disco, jazz, metal, punk, soul, and much more, High Fade has developed a sound that erupts from a raging melting pot of musical influences and tears through the fabric of space-time by managing to be simultaneously fresh and retro.

Fiercely independent, the band releases its music via its own label RPN Records (Rippin' Records), including their debut album, Life's Too Fast (2024), which charted in the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, and Australia.

Not bad for a DIY independent band operating entirely outside the major label system. High Fade's second LP, Twice As Nice, is scheduled for release on RPN Records.
