Inspired by an energy and style ranging from the be-bop era to more modern formations, the four musicians present an original repertoire of compositions and arrangements, with a strong harmonic sense and an infectious swing as their common thread.
Featuring Sandro Torsiello (tenor saxophone), Gautier Montegu (piano), France Duclairoir (double bass) and Guillaume Leguérinel (drums), the quartet offers compositions fully inspired by the jazz of their predecessors, with a keen eye always turned towards the Afro-American tradition.
