He was born on 23 September 1926 and died on 17 July 1967. Nearly sixty years after his passing, Coltrane's legacy continues to shine and profoundly influence contemporary and modern jazz. In my opinion, he is the great legend of jazz!
Come and celebrate this extraordinary musician through his mythical albums. The Italian Flavio Boltro was a member of Michel Petrucciani's quintet and, notably, Stefano di Battista's companion. He has also collaborated with Cedar Walton, Michel Portal, and Steve Grossman.
Tonight, the virtuoso trumpeter surrounds himself with three figures from the young generation of Italian jazz to present his homage to John Coltrane.
