Fascinated by the discovery of music linked to Spanish popular tradition (notably Joaquin Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez) and by certain expressions of the country's cultural heritage (such as flamenco or religious processions), trumpeter Miles Davis offered his intense and poetic vision in "Sketches of Spain", a masterpiece marking the opening of jazz to world music.

An emancipated disciple of his glorious elder, Erik Truffaz has become one of the leading figures of electro-jazz trumpet, whose creativity has never waned.
