Elizabeth Sombart

Born in Strasbourg, she was awarded the 1st national prize for piano and chamber music and then studied with great masters: in Buenos Aires with Bruno-Leonardo Gelber, in London with Peter Feuchtwanger, in Vienna with Hilde Langer-Rühl and finally Sergiu Celibidache at the University of Mainz, with whom she studied musical phenomenology. She has performed in the most prestigious concert halls in the world: Carnegie Hall, the Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw, Suntory Hall and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. She founded the Fondation Résonnance and then the Centre International d'Étude de la Pédagogie Résonnance, which offers master classes in piano, singing, chamber music and improvisation. Programme:
