The undisputed leader of the second wave of gothic doom metal, DRACONIAN is finally back, and in better shape than ever!
Their new studio album, 'In Somnolent Ruin', is arguably one of the most personal albums in the band's discography, which unfolds through a dreamlike journey in nine tracks and in the poetic lyrics of singer Anders Jacobsson.
The new album also marks the return of longtime vocalist Lisa Johansson, who sang on the band's first five albums and now again shares the microphone with Anders Jacobsson.
The band members who participated in the recording of the new album have been touring together since 2022, which gives the album a particular live atmosphere.
