DECLAN WELSH AND THE DECADENT WEST (Rock UK): Declan Welsh and the Decadent West are back.
After a break dedicated to writing their third album, the Glasgow band returns this autumn with over 25 dates across the UK and Europe, from Saint Luke's in their hometown to Berlin's Badehaus, via The Grace in London and Le Ferrailleur in Nantes, to promote their new album Explicit Agitation, set for release in September 2026.
Led by singer-songwriter Declan Welsh, the band now brings together a changing line-up of friends and musicians, alongside long-time bassist Ben Corlett. They have built a reputation for explosive live performances and lyrics that are as hard-hitting as they are moving.
Their debut album, *Cheaply Bought, Expensively Sold*, was nominated for Scottish Album of the Year; their second opus established them as an essential band, both on record and live.
