Cheval de feu

In a suspended world where breath hangs by a thread, two dancers attempt to revive the eternal story: that of life. They weave and unweave new narratives where the material of objects, figures, and puppets intertwines with the carnal nature of their moving bodies. Everything harmonises with the universe of textile artist Béatrice Meunier-Déry and resonates with music by USMAR. Felts, threads, and weaves depict a dreamlike world that reminds us of ancestral rites and parietal art drawings. We are transported to imaginary lands where fire traces the path of possibilities, where embers invite us to dance, where the gallop of horses echoes like a bell to help us remember the future.
