The Human Library is an original concept that invites the public to "borrow" rather special "books": human beings. Each "book" is a volunteer, ready to share their story, experience, or worldview during a direct and privileged exchange with a "reader".

Far from a classic stage performance, this is an intimate encounter, a free-flowing conversation where everyone is invited to listen and ask questions. The "reader" chooses a "book" from a selection of "titles" representing various themes or life journeys. The experience generally lasts about twenty minutes, the time for an authentic dialogue.
