Andy Warhol. La Ligne et l'Image

From September 16, 2026 to January 10, 2027

Dedicated to Warhol's drawings, the exhibition reveals a continuous practice, essential to understanding his work. Trained in illustration, the artist never stopped drawing, even after adopting the mechanical processes that marked his work. Drawing thus appears as a place of constant experimentation, where images are constructed and a singular visual thought unfolds. By bringing together a significant collection of sheets, some of which are previously unseen, as well as works related to this practice, the exhibition highlights the continuity of his work throughout the years. It invites us to reconsider his entire body of work from this dialogue between gesture and reproduction, between hand and machine.
