Free because they are detached from any reference to the coldwave and gothic rock they helped forge alongside The Cure in the early eighties.
Inspired, because that is the sole driving force behind AND ALSO THE TREES, a band that has preserved its independence to respond only to the injunction of its muses.
Since the early 2010s and the acoustic interlude of "When The Rain Comes" / "Driftwood", the Jones brothers' band seems to be experiencing a second golden age, reflected on stage by classy, exalted concerts and a growing audience.
2024 sees the release of "Mother-of-Pearl Moon", less than two years after "The Bone Carver", a delicate album with lush and discreet orchestration that crosses new boundaries for the band, notably with the addition of electronic parts in places.
