Imagine one day, someone shows up at your door saying "Hey Surprise! Let me introduce you to your child!". How do you deal with it? Is there a way to avoid it? In this play, Claudy, Miky and Jerry lead us to reflect on the subject of unwanted paternity and stage themselves in successive life bubbles: "unwilling" fathers, women who have babies "all by themselves", but also this grown-up "surprise" child who questions the circumstances of their birth. So, you're probably thinking: "With such a thorny subject, we're not likely to laugh!". And yet, these disrupted lives are also approached from a humorous angle, because isn't there a better way to deal with these delicate situations than with derision and irony?
