Overview
January 1999: Lyon High Court, Thierry, then head of an anti-drug unit, is indicted for aggravated theft. Dismissed from the National Police, he is sent before a criminal court and faces 5 years in prison. After keeping this secret buried for over 20 years, an improbable event leads Thierry to take to the stage to finally tell his story. With unusual sincerity, he recounts his last investigation, a cocaine trafficking operation whose scale eventually overwhelms him and causes him to lose his footing. “À Contresens” is a man's face-to-face with himself, between his life crises, his missed opportunities, and the resources he draws upon to continue fighting and regain his honour and, above all, the love of his son.
