Vivaldi : Les Quatre Saisons - Ave Maria et Airs Sacrés

The Alegria Orchestra invites you to an evening dedicated to the masterpieces of Baroque music, culminating in Antonio Vivaldi's famous Four Seasons and a selection of sacred arias.

This concert celebrates Antonio Vivaldi, an emblematic figure of Italian Baroque music (1678-1741). A composer and virtuoso violinist, he left his mark on his era with an abundant and innovative body of work, of which the violin concertos The Four Seasons are undoubtedly the most famous. These pieces, true musical poems, depict with striking expressiveness the atmospheres and landscapes of each season, from the vivacity of Spring to the rigour of Winter. The programme is complemented by sacred arias, offering a spiritual and contemplative dimension to the evening.

The Alegria Orchestra, a group renowned for the subtlety of its interpretations, offers a performance faithful to the Baroque spirit. On stage, the musicians display communicative energy, highlighting the richness of the timbres and the virtuosity of Vivaldi's scores. The duration of such a set is generally around 1h15 to 1h30, allowing for a full appreciation of the depth of these works.
