Enhanced by the cultural diversity of its members, the defining characteristic of Monsieur Mâlâ's music is a 360-degree musical approach: jazz, rock, funk, electro, Africa, the Caribbean… All built upon a shared, infinite love for grooves of all kinds and improvised music.

Born in Paris from the encounter of five musicians with strong personalities, Monsieur Mâlâ circulates influences rather than simply juxtaposing them.

Violin and electric mandolin rub shoulders with saxophones and cor anglais, Fender Rhodes and keyboards converse with a deep bass and propulsive drums. The result: instrumental music that is at once organic, sophisticated, and incredibly danceable.
