For twenty years, Thierry Péala and Vérioca Lherm have been exploring a musical territory where vocal jazz and Brazilian music meet, driven by a love of rhythm, improvisation, and the joy of playing. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their duo, they revisit the highlights of their repertoire, featuring both their own compositions and pieces by some of the great figures of Brazilian music: Tania Maria, Edu Lobo, Joyce Moreno… For this exceptional evening, they will be joined by percussionist Edmundo Carneiro, a long-time collaborator of Tania Maria, and will welcome for the first time Brazilian trombonist Roberto de Oliveira, a disciple of the legendary Raul de Souza. A generous and lively anniversary concert, blending jazz, samba, improvisation, and Brazilian rhythms.
