SKIP THE USE IS BACK! Three years after the emotional whirlwind of Human Disorder, the quartet from Lille returns to thrill our eardrums and raise awareness with “WE ARE GOOD” / “DISTORTER”, the first double extract from a forthcoming sixth album.

In the colourful wake of their fifth offspring, Mat Bastard (vocals), Yan Stefani (guitar), Enzo Gabert (drums) and Nelson Martins (bass) have shaped their new record like a puzzle, during a refreshing creative interlude.

During this break bathed in freedom, the four accomplices challenged themselves to compose individually in service of the collective, giving rise to a borderless sonic patchwork, sending labels flying while still bringing people together, with a raised fist.

The biggest scam of our time is having convinced us that we are incapable of taking control of our destiny,” explain its creators.

Behind its evocative name, referring to an effect pedal that would distort not guitars, but our lives themselves, the title castigates the established order to better break its chains: “They sell us their lies, they poison our veins / Feed us their fear, but we’re breaking the chains”, chants a Mat Bastard rarely so refractory, just before the chorus emerges.
