The film will be reborn on stage in September 2026 at the Théâtre du Lido thanks to a magnificent troupe of actors and singers and a large orchestra. Inspired by the American film by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly released in 1952, Singin’ in the Rain is an optimistic and joyful show that will make you forget rainy days. Each song illuminates the story of the destiny of three artists during the 1920s in Hollywood, when silent cinema gradually gave way to talking pictures, and when black and white disappeared in favour of colour. The artistic team, led by director Robert Carsen, will present a spectacular brand-new production with 240 sparkling costumes and breathtaking choreographies and tap dances.
