Saint Levant - Afandi World Tour

Marwan Abdelhamid, better known as Saint Levant, was born in Jerusalem during the Second Intifada, to a French-Algerian mother and a Serbian-Palestinian father.

He spent seven formative years of his childhood in Gaza, an experience that would later inspire his first EP, From Gaza, With Love. Drawing inspiration from his origins, Saint Levant blends the sounds of traditional Arabic music with R&B and hip-hop.

He celebrates the richness of his cultural heritage, the diversity of the Arab community worldwide, and the Palestinian cause. Written in Arabic, English, and French, his songs appeal to an international audience thanks to their universal reach.

This approach culminated in DEIRA, his debut album, a project that laid the emotional and sonic foundations of his artistic universe. Released on Valentine's Day, Love Letters / رسائل حب marked a turning point in his artistic evolution.

The project explores different facets of his universe — triumphant, introspective, hopeful, and deeply sincere, through an A-side rooted in traditional Arab and North African musical traditions, and a B-side inspired by 1980s Western funk and contemporary pop.

Building on the project's success, Saint Levant enriched it with Love Letters / رسائل حب (Deluxe), which features collaborations with Fares Sokar, NORDO, and Babylone, further solidifying his place among artists who effortlessly navigate between cultures, territories, and musical genres.

The album AFANDI opens a new chapter marked by timeless elegance.

Inspired by the natural charisma of Arab icons such as George Wassouf and Kadim Al Saher, this project reinvents the figure of the “afandi,” an elegant, impeccably dressed, and self-assured man without ostentation, for a new generation.
