But in this winter landscape, danger gradually gives way to the strange… then to wonder. Through unexpected encounters, Cyrielle discovers a world as fragile as it is surprising, and learns to tame its codes.

Using a process they call "ciné-papier", halfway between a live-drawn concert and object theatre, two actors bring to life a miniature world made entirely of drawn, folded, and cut paper.

Projected behind them on a large screen, the story they tell comes alive in a kind of DIY animated film created live.

With humour, the show subverts the codes of fairy tales and celebrates childlike imagination, in a universe that evokes both the visual inventiveness of Michel Gondry and the poetry of Miyazaki; where a few sheets of paper become landscapes, characters, and storms, and are enough to conjure a world that is both tiny and infinite.
