As in Renversante, Florence Hinckel's book, director Léna Bréban unpicks the clichés of a world where female domination reigns. Indeed, in Léa and Tom's society, streets and schools are named after famous women, and it is men who look after the children. So, the two non-identical twins question themselves, trying to understand why the feminine prevails over the masculine. "How to break free from the straitjacket where deeply ingrained foundations describe what a woman should be and what a man should be? " explains Léna Bréban. Blending inventiveness, humour, and derision, the play is punctuated by projections of real advertisements that ironically demonstrate gender inequality. At the end of the show, a debate takes place between the artists and the audience.
