Overview
Psykup will celebrate 30 years of existence in 2025. The band has now achieved mythical status in the alternative scene, with 5 albums, an acoustic EP, and two live DVDs.
Beyond trends, beyond norms, the group has always been iconoclastic, debunking clichés with humour, calm, and determination. They have influenced several generations, bringing Primus and Pantera, Strapping Young Lad and Alice In Chains to the same table.
A live war machine, Psykup has toured France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and stormed prestigious international festivals such as Les Eurockéennes de Belfort, Download Festival France, the famous Boulevard in Morocco, Rockstadt in Transylvania, as well as a packed Hellfest won over by their contagious madness.
The band will release their 6th album, “The Joke of Tomorrow” (Verycords), on 11 April 2025, which is already shaping up to be another aggressive and groovy musical journey boosted by catchy harmonies, always wild and uninhibited.
