Enfants Difficiles, Mentissa's second album, marks a new era. Less metaphorical, more direct. Less reserved, more embodied. Here, words no longer suggest: they state. Childhood, family, identity, anger, the need for control, love as a refuge. Mentissa writes to free herself. The previous tour left its mark: more rhythmic tracks, specifically designed to breathe on stage, interact with the audience, offering a space for energy as much as intimacy. The Anglo-Saxon influence – from Adele to Gracie Abrams, via Olivia Rodrigo – is even more palpable, with some forays into English. The voice remains the centre of gravity: powerful, intimate and fragile. This is the Mentissa you will find in concert throughout France and Belgium, at festivals this summer and in venues from autumn 2026.
