Marilyn Live - Le Concert du Centenaire

On the occasion of Marilyn Monroe's centenary, immerse yourself in the musical world of the American icon for a concert that will honour Marilyn's most beautiful songs from the cinema! The programme for this event concert includes the greatest hits that marked Marilyn Monroe's legend: Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend, the essential hit from the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953); I Wanna Be Loved by You, a sensual extract from Some Like It Hot (1959); Heat Wave, a dazzling performance from There's No Business Like Show Business (1954); and My Heart Belongs to Daddy, a cult number from Let's Make Love (1960).

For this world premiere, three exceptional singers will lend their voices to Marilyn Monroe's legacy: Neïma Naouri, daughter of the famous opera singers Natalie Dessay and Laurent Naouri, who has brilliantly distinguished herself in Broadway musicals and jazz; Louise Charbonnel, revelation of the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges 2025 and former performer in Starmania, whose musical universe blends pop, classical and jazz; and Judith Derouin who has distinguished herself as a soloist in numerous opera, jazz and musical theatre productions. Presented by the biggest names in French jazz such as Claude Egéa and Denis Leloup, Le Multiquarium Big Band, a seventeen-musician ensemble, directed by the legendary duo André Charlier (drums) and Benoît Sourisse (piano, Hammond organ), has established itself for over twenty-five years as an essential reference on the European jazz scene. Through the subtle arrangements of the Multiquarium Big Band and the interpretation of the three soloists, all the energy, sensitivity and fragility of Marilyn Monroe resurface on stage.
