• Italy. To save his marriage, François Joconde has a brilliant idea: to offer his wife Lisa her portrait, painted by Leonardo da Vinci. But how to make her pose without her noticing? Especially since the Pope, on a surprise visit, has decided to condemn all artists who paint anything other than religious figures…

Of incongruity, second degree humour, parody… in the vein of the humour of Monty Python's « Spamalot  » and Alexandre Astier's « Kaamelott  ». A delirious show that brings the Renaissance back to life, and gives life to the mysterious Mona Lisa in flesh and blood. You will discover how she came to pose for her portrait, and why she smiles… The story of the most famous woman about whom we know almost nothing.

Good to know: Created in 2023 with Arnaud Tsamère, Bruno Salomone and Benjamin Gauthier for the Canal+ group, author Rémi Deval (from the duo Les Décaféinés) is restaging « Madame Joconde  » in a brand new, « colourful  » version.
