Four distinct voices converge in 4Worlds. Together, they have forged a sound they call “jazz mélé” – music where four musicians with deep traditional roots engage in an equal, uncompromising dialogue. Each identity remains whole.

This first album, recorded in Paris, bears witness to this rare encounter: Scandinavian melodic clarity meets Senegalese rhythmic architecture, all filtered through French jazz and Caribbean syncopation. Paris offered them a borderless meeting ground.

The Nordic violin met the sabar guitar, the double bass found its space between symphonic rigour and gypsy energy, and the power of gwo ka joined the conversation.

The city's history brings out a particular quality in those willing to experience it: the freedom to blend without compromise. A single breath for an unprecedented dialogue.
