To mark the centenary of the Mairie du 8e arrondissement, discover the history of the Hôtel Cail through an immersive theatrical tour.
During a stroll through the lounges, galleries, and corridors of the former private mansion, costumed actors bring to life several characters linked to the history of the place.
From Jean-François Cail to his servants, from the architect Albert Labouret to witnesses of the Paris Commune, visitors are invited to travel back in time to the 1860s.
Scenes, dialogues, confidences, and anecdotes follow one another throughout the tour to offer a different perspective on the various lives of this emblematic building, which became the Mairie du 8e arrondissement a century later.
Departures are offered every 20 minutes from 2 PM to 6 PM, depending on the number of visitors. Each visit lasts approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
